Delaware Valley Veterans Home, Wilmington VA, Washington DC Marathon and AMVETS Awards!
Summary
This was such a special trip for us, performing at the Delaware Valley Veterans Home for the first time, meeting and even eating dinner with the Veterans of the Wilmington DE, VA Medical Center! That really helped us connect and better understand the ones we serve. Performing a block from the World War 2 Memorial, watching 25,000 people run by us while we performed music to inspire them. Playing the Armed Service Medley at the AMVETS Silver Helmet Awards and watching hundreds of Veterans show their pride!
Performing for our Veterans is just as rewarding for us because we see how much they love and appreciate the music, that is why we think music is one of the most powerful ways to thank our Veterans!
